Cupid’s Kiss Cocktail
Cupid’s Kiss is a delicious cocktail recipe that is perfect for romantic date nights and to celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone you love. Think of it as romance in a glass. It’s fruity, bubbly, decadently delicious and can be easily transformed into a mocktail. Better still, you will look like a pro, but you don’t have to be a professional bartender to make it. Cupid's Kiss was created by our own Kate Gilbert, who runs FinaMill's social media and is an accomplished chef.
Wishing you all a Happy Valentine’s Day filled with love and great food!❤️
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup cinnamon hearts candy, divided
- 1 medium lime
- ice
- 1 medium pink grapefruit
- 1 1/2 oz white tequila
- sparkling water or club soda
Notes:
- Leave out the tequila and you have a delicious mocktail.
- Shaking the candies with the drink gives it a subtle spicy kick and deepens the pink color. Leave them out if you prefer!
- To make a larger batch of cocktails, maintain the proportions of 1 part tequila, ½ part lime, 2 parts grapefruit juice, soda to taste.

Directions:
- Put half of the cinnamon hearts candy in a FinaMill Grater Pod. Grate them onto a plate until there is enough to rim your glass. Halve a lime and rub it on the edge of the glass to moisten. Dip the rim into the ground candy.
- Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Squeeze half a lime into the shaker (should measure about ½ oz).
- Halve your grapefruit. Cut a slice from one side to reserve for garnish. Juice the grapefruit. Strain it, measure 3 oz juice, and add it to the shaker.
- Add 1 ½ oz tequila to the shaker.
- Add the remaining cinnamon hearts to the shaker if desired.
- Shake well. Add ice to the cocktail glass, strain and pour the drink. Top with soda water to fill the glass or achieve your preferred strength.
- Garnish with a quarter slice of grapefruit or a lime wedge.
